A New Year is Here!2010-01-02

Traditional wishes all of you a happy New Year! It has been an exciting year for us. We have met so many new people and developed so many new friends. Right now we have four beautiful baby girls - three sables and one blue (sorry - they are all spoken for!) - Janie (Mansfield), Bella Swan, Dolly Parton and GoGo. This bevy of beauties were born on November 11th and 17th (GoGo). As in the past, WE have the most fun watching the personalities develop and the first steps and crazy antics of each new kitten. My mentor, Brian Tripp and I went to Chicago for their show after Thanksgiving, and had the great JOY of meeting Olesya Kolosova and Marina from BeautyBurm of Russia. What an action-packed weekend filled with laughs and great excitement! Brian and I attended the Clerking School and then clerked at the Chicago show, Traditional\'s Little Miss Echo GRANDED and Traditional\'s Becca went to her new home in Russia. We even had good travel weather! Olesya and Marina made it possible for Brian and I to learn our clerking. They made sure all six of our cats/kittens got to their appropriate rings on time. Olesay and Marina managed all this with only a fair amount of English, too. What is on deck for the coming year? We hope to attend the Saintly City cat show in St. Paul. Myrna Loy is being mom for all the babies, while Lauren - GoGo\'s mom - is recooping and getting ready for another visit from her best friend Lotsa de Casha. Lauren\'s Burt Lancaster is growing like the proverbial weed. We are excited to see how Burt and Myrna Loy will blend. Lily Tomlin is becoming a lady and will hopefully get her championship this winter. We, too, are excited about Burt and the possibilites with our girls. Maybe we will be adding platinums to our color options for kittens. I hope to show more this year, but as always, my main focus will be in breeding and developing our beloved Burmese. Here\'s to the New Year - May is be Filled with Joy and Laughter!
